Comenius Portugal February 2012
The 8th of February our group of students and teachers set off on their trip to Portugal. It was a ten hour trip by bus but they made several stops to visit places on the way. They were received in the hotel where they had a welcome dinner.
They spent three days doing different things. They visited the Amar Terra Verde School where they were given lunch served by the culinary students. From there they visited the wine warehouse and plantation of Vinho Verde. They toured the amazing city of Oporto, visiting its famous wine warehouses. They also visited the city of Braga, they had conferences and meetings, and enjoyed the delicious Portuguese food.
Most importantly they met students and the teachers from the other countries, and used their English to get to know each other.
The 12th of February they started on their way back home arriving in Mungia full of good memories and with their minds focused on the next trip. It was a lot of fun!
